OUR SOCIAL IMPACT ON EDUCATION
FCC South Africa is proud to be involved with the enhancement of the South African maritime industry. We work directly with Durban University of Technology to train and educate prospective students. We sponsor office interns and deck cadets who gain valuable experience learning logistics and vessel procedures. FCCSA organizes student vessel tours when our ships call Durban ports. Many times, these visits are the first opportunities students have had to step foot aboard a working vessel. We also offer bursaries to students studying in the maritime industry.
OUR COMMUNITY SERVICE
We strive to improve our local community by contributing time and resources to local charities. FCC South Africa has assisted the TLC Children’s Home, an organization committed to caring for abandoned children, with donations for cots, major mechanicals and a variety of other needs. We are proud to support our community.
